Data Deletion Request
Kenya Auto Bazaar Association respects your privacy and gives you control over your personal data. Use this page to request deletion of your data from our WhatsApp service and related platforms.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you request data deletion, we will remove the following information:
- Your personal information (name, phone number, email)
- All WhatsApp message history with our service
- Your car buying/selling preferences and requirements
- Gate fee payment records (except where legally required to retain)
- Marketing preferences and consent records
- Profile information from our platform
- Any photos or media you've shared with us

Send an email with "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line and include your phone number for verification.

Our Response Process:
- Confirmation (within 24 hours): We'll confirm receipt of your request via WhatsApp or email
- Verification (within 2-3 days): We'll verify your identity to ensure data security
- Processing (within 7-14 days): We'll process your deletion request and remove your data
- Completion Notice: We'll notify you when deletion is complete
Exceptions to Data Deletion
We may retain certain data in the following circumstances:
- Legal Requirements: Where we are legally obligated to retain records
- Fraud Prevention: To prevent fraudulent activity or security threats
- Active Transactions: Data related to ongoing business transactions
- Backup Systems: Data in backup systems will be deleted in the next backup cycle
